The Tradeshow Group, Inc. (TTG) is owned and operated by Marion Moon, one of the trade show industry’s most reliable professionals because of her ability to listen to her customers. Marion’s career in the trade show industry began when, as an owner of a local trucking company, she recognized the need for specialized shipping dedicated to the specific needs of trade show exhibitors. “After making several pick-ups and deliveries, I realized that trade show shipping was not the same as door to door shipping. I understood right away that exhibitors needed better service from their carriers in order to meet the unique timelines and restrictions for shows,” Marion explains. “That’s when I created Convention and Trade Show Freight Specialists, Inc., (CTFS) formerly Convention Freight Services.”

Since then, CTFS has been serving the defense-aerospace exhibition industry as the premier official airfreight forwarder. From the very beginning, the company built its reputation on providing the highest level of service available in the industry. Now, in recognition of the need for that same level of service and dedication from trade show general contractors, Marion has created TTG. “The trade show industry is changing, and the needs of exhibitors and show managers are changing,” says Marion. “Customers demand quality service at fair prices, and that’s how we built our reputation in shipping. We are well poised to expand our resources into the area of general services contracting, and we believe that the values we bring—availability, dependability, and exceptional service—will carry over well into the needs of this changing industry.
